Happy belated Independence Day
I would like to wish all Americans and especially my American friends a Happy Belated Independence Day. We live in difficult times but I hope you all will remember that:
Freedom is not Free. I Photographed these on the banks of the Cape Fear River last night. All of them were created in camera. 1/.

Oh so lovely!!! You should see mine...lol...I took mine out the bedroom window. I was soooo lazy. Its titled ROOM WITH A VIEW if you want to giggle of the quality.

Thank you, Laureen. It is indeed a room with a view. Great location. Is your studio in view?

As always, great pics. I'm a bit belated as well. Haven't been on xanga much and our computer broke. But we're up and running again

Hello Rhonda. Thank you for the kind words. I am just very proud to be in your country and I appreciate your hospitality and kindness.
Where are you, Maarten???? I'm thinking you and your wife are off on another journey and I hope that you're recording lots of fabulous photos to share with us. I thinking I'm going to revisit your Big Sur series because it's my favorite. Take care. Peace

Hi Mary Sue, I wish I was on vacation somewhere but I am not. I am just hard at work. Our region is very dry and the pond near us is virtually empty but we are well with little to complain about other than the drought.
I hope you are well and I will soon post the rest of the Painted Desert photos.
Good, I was afraid ya'll had left the country! My family and I are doing very well. We'll see you when you are able to get back to posting. Best wishes and I hope it rains! Peace
