More lovely shots, Maarten! Even with the dust storm, the colors are evident! Were you there just once, or more than that?

I was there twice. The first time shortly after some light rain and the colors just popped. There was a significant difference between the two visits.
dust or no dust ... i want to crawl all over that place ... slowly ... magnificent!!
These are all so good that I can't pick a favorite. I wonder what time of year you shot this series? In the summer the heat practically boils from the ground but these photos don't look 'hot'. Does that make sense? Peace

Hi Mary Sue, I understand what you mean about 'hot'. These were taken at the end of October last year and the days were cool. Thank you for the kind words.
